Being a single parent on Valentine rules!

Hooray, it’s Valentine’s Day, the best day to be single parent! No matter whether your kids are at the ex or at home. And here is why:

Extra deserved quality-alone-time!

Valentine is also the best time to have some quality alone time. Enjoy the peace and quiet to do some yoga or meditating. Run yourself a hot bubbly bath, read a book or play IQ Digits while soaking and listening to your favourite songs. No bathtub at home? Just book yourself a hotel room for one night and treat yourself with room service!

Finally, friend-o-clock

Not in a mood to spend Valentine alone? Get your single friends over for wine, gossip and games! This is the time for a long overdue date with your bestie. Light some candles, get some nice wine or beer and gossip over some board games while eating the best chocolates. Dragon Inferno or Cube Duel are great games to duel each other. Or just simply cry your eyes out together over Titanic or the Notebook.

Kids at home? Perfect! There’s no better time to shower your kids with love than Valentine. Who would not like to be with the little humans they love most? A day where you can allocate your undivided attention to them (and them to you). Have a tea-party, chocolate cake-tasting or a movie night. Or play some educational, fun family games like Grabbit and reward the winner with a little Valentine gift.
